NEXT BULLHEAD SCHOOLS SALE
INCLUDES CHILDREN’S READING MATERIALS

BULLHEAD CITY – Children’s books and study materials no longer used in classrooms will be available for purchase at the next sale hosted by the Bullhead City School District.  The public may visit on October 10 from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
This week’s sale of older curriculum items has moved to a new location in a storage building immediately behind the District Office at 1004 Hancock Road, in Suite 400.  That building is also just west of Bullhead City Middle School and just north of Coyote Canyon School.  Attendees should use the parking lot between Coyote Canyon and the storage building, accessible off of either Hancock Road or Lakeside Drive.
BCSD Superintendent Carolyn Stewart described many of the books as “perfect for parents to read to children, or for children to read to their parents, to improve their reading skills.”  Books on sale this week are designed for children in kindergarten through fifth grade.
Old textbooks and other curriculum materials will be sold by the box rather than individually, making for better deals.
Everything will be sold as-is.  Under state law, proceeds from the sales will go into a specific account for comparable replacement items.
Additional information is available at 928-758-3961, x-1000, or surplus@bcsd15.org.  An itemized list cannot be provided over the phone.  Future sales of older books and curriculum items will then be followed by a return to sales of surplus equipment and furniture on a regular basis.
