I consider it a true honor to serve this vibrant and dynamic region nestled along the beautiful Colorado River. As a 20-year resident in the area, I’ve witnessed firsthand the growth and evolution of our community, and I’m deeply committed to its continued success. At the Laughlin Chamber of Commerce, we’re more than just an organization; we’re a community hub dedicated to promoting growth, prosperity, and collaboration among our members and the entire Colorado River Region.

Our region is renowned for its exciting events that draw visitors from far and wide. From the exhilarating Laughlin Bullhead Airshow to the dazzling Spring and Fall Concert Series at the Laughlin Events Center, we host an array of festivities that showcase the unique charm and beauty of Laughlin. Our chamber of commerce is committed to supporting these events and ensuring they continue to thrive, bringing joy and economic opportunities to our businesses and residents alike.

One of our primary objectives at the Laughlin Chamber of Commerce is to champion our member businesses. That’s why we actively engage in fundraising efforts for local non-profit organizations like River Fund, Inc., which provide a safety net for members in our community experiencing a variety of hardships. AWARD-WINNING TRI-STATE PROGRAM BEGINS SHORTLY

           TRI-STATE – The Colorado River Women’s Council’s annual Leadership Class is accepting applications through Monday, August 26, for its 2024-2025 program. The class – one day each month from September through May – is for up-and-coming community leaders of all ages.
           Leadership Class graduates include business leaders, stay-at-home parents, retirees, educators, non-profit organization professionals and more. Graduates have also run for elected office.
           Applicants from throughout the Tri-State area are welcome. CRWC and the Leadership Class are open to both men and women, despite the sponsoring organization’s name.
           Interactive day-long workshops and field trips will cover area history, government, media and communications, education, public safety and first responders, tourism and economic development, health care and area courts.
           For more than a decade, Leadership Class members have selected and planned class projects, which are then donated to a local organization. Those have included the area’s first dog park, benches for parks and schools, and improvements to Animal Care and Welfare’s shelter. This year’s program is in development with new ideas and exciting details coming soon.
Employers are required to allow students paid time off to participate and pay $250 of the tuition; employees pay the remaining $50 to indicate their commitment. Some scholarships are available for those who are self-employed or retired. Participants are expected to be present for every session.
