Grand Funk Railroad and Scotty McCreery Scheduled to Headline Performances at The Edge Pavilion in April 2025
LAUGHLIN, Nev. – Dec. 16, 2024 – Edgewater Casino Resort’s premier live entertainment venue The Edge Pavilion, located at 2020 S. Casino Drive, has announced upcoming performances by classic rock band, Grand Funk Railroad, on Saturday, April 5, 2025 and country music star Scotty McCreery on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
Founded in 1969 in Flint, Mich., Grand Funk Railroad, also known as “The American Band,” is known for their hard-driving sound, soulful vocals and forceful pop melodies which laid the groundwork for iconic bands such as Foreigner, Journey, Van Halen and Bon Jovi. Over the years, the band has achieved notable success with 19 charted singles, eight Top 40 hits and two #1 singles: “We’re an American Band” and “The Loco-Motion.” With more than 25 million records sold worldwide, the band holds seven gold and 10 platinum certifications. Most recently, “We’re An American Band” and “Some Kind of Wonderful” each went platinum in 2022. The high-energy five-piece group features vocalist and drummer Don Brewer, bassist Mel “The God of Thunder” Schacher, rock veteran Max Carl, keyboardist Tim Cashion and lead guitarist Mark Chatfield, best known as a founding member of Ohio rock legends “THE GODZ.” Tickets for Grand Funk Railroad’s show on April 5 will start at $58.
North Carolina Music Hall of Famer Scotty McCreery became a household name after his debut at the age of 17 with tracks exploring themes of heartbreak, faith, fatherhood and love. McCreery made history in 2011 by becoming the first country artist and the youngest male artist of any genre to debut his first studio album, “Clear as Day,” at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. Since then McCreery has sold more than 4 million albums and released six No. 1 hits. These include the recent "Cab in a Solo," as well as the RIAA Platinum-certified "Damn Strait," the RIAA Gold-certified "You Time," "In Between," "This Is It," and the Triple Platinum-certified "Five More Minutes." Earlier this year, McCreery was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry by country legends Josh Turner and Randy Travis, following an invitation from Garth Brooks. Tickets for McCreery’s show on Saturday, April 26 will start at $69.50.
Tickets for both shows will go on sale on Thursday, Dec. 19 beginning at 10 a.m. PST. True Rewards Players Club members will have exclusive access to purchase presale tickets beginning at 10 a.m. PST on Wednesday, Dec. 18 through 9 a.m. PST on Thursday, Dec. 19.
