Race Expo
As one of the biggest supporters of the event, the Colorado Belle and Edgewater play host to a variety of "race bonuses." One of these is a Race Expo to be held on Fri, Dec 4 (noon-10 p.m.) on the "D Deck" of the Colorado Belle.
The "D Deck" is the former "restaurant row" of the Belle and is located at the top of the long escalator located at the south end of the main casino (near Pints Brewery and Sports Bar).
The expo is free and open to the general public with vendors offering merchandise and information of interest to even those who haven't ran since they played hide and seek.
Among the vendors and booths will be:
•Rona Philpott Photography— oficial race photographer will be offering photos to print and purchase and letting runners know about three "photo moments" they will ind on the course
• Operation Gratitude—offering opportunities to write "thank you" letters to service men and women
•Boys & Girls Club of the Colorado River
Edgewater and Colorado Belle will have information on the two properties and how to sign up for their ACCESS Players Club
•Valley View Medical Center
•Vitamin World
•Topock 66 Foundation
•Juicing & Plant-Based Whole Foods for Weight Loss and Optimum Health—demonstrations, tastings, information
•Sin City Shootout 5K, 10K and Double Your Luck Challenge representatives who will provide information on their inaugural racing event to be held in Las Vegas on Jan 17 •Information on the Runnercard Half Marathon to be held near the Avi on March 26, and Epic Tahoe Adventures Half Marathon on June 18
•Paciic Coast Race Timing; and many others.
Packets
It is suggested runners pick up their packets with goodie bags and their "swag" at the Race Expo on Friday, however, they can pick them up at the Food Court in the Laughlin Outlet Center on Casino Drive in the morning before the start of the race. The packets contain the goodie bags with running bib. There is also a raffle ticket good for a chance at two tickets to the Big & Rich concert at the E Center at the Edgewater on Saturday.
