I consider it a true honor to serve this vibrant and dynamic region nestled along the beautiful Colorado River. As a 20-year resident in the area, I’ve witnessed firsthand the growth and evolution of our community, and I’m deeply committed to its continued success. At the Laughlin Chamber of Commerce, we’re more than just an organization; we’re a community hub dedicated to promoting growth, prosperity, and collaboration among our members and the entire Colorado River Region.

From the exhilarating Laughlin Bullhead Airshow to the dazzling Spring and Fall Concert Series at the Laughlin Events Center, we host an array of festivities that showcase the unique charm and beauty of Laughlin. Event Description:

Looking for something fun and exciting to do this upcoming weekend? Come out to the inaugural Laughlin International Film Festival Thursday Oct. 11 thru Sunday Oct. 14 in Laughlin, Nevada.

We are honored to be screening over 75 films of all types from filmmakers all around the world, including Shorts, Features, Documentaries, Music Videos, Experimental, Television Pilots, University Level and Youth Films. Ron Howard's Project Imagin8ion will be screening at the festival as well as Official Selections from well respected film festivals such as: Sundance, AFI Fest, LA Shorts Fest, Rome Intl, Athens Intl, Palm Springs, Woodstock, The Hamptons, Las Vegas, Miami and San Diego, to mention a few. We thrilled to have feature film selections starring actors Erik Roberts, Seymour Cassel, Taye Diggs, Julia Stiles, Melissa George and David Harbour!

Our event will be kicked off with Red Carpet arrivals and our opening night Film "Born & Raised" Thursday night at 7:00pm, followed by film screenings all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday. During the event we will also be having filmmaker, acting and distribution workshops, a Cosmic Bowling "Halloween Party" at Riverside Lanes, an Award Ceremony and Afterparty at the Tropicana Casino and a Filmmaker Breakfast at the Aquarius Casino.

We will also be joined by Kevyn Major Howard (from the film Full Metal Jacket) and his charitable Organization "Fueled By the Fallen" for the duration of the Festival. Fueled by the Fallen will have five 911 Memorial Angel Camaros on Display in the Aquarius parking lot honoring the names of all 9/11 victims. In addition, a portion of the festival proceeds will be going to our Festival Charity - The Local Boys and Girls Club of the Colorado River.

All Festival guests can find discount Hotel reservation codes on our website for room rates as low as $29.95 at the Tropicana and $59.95 at the Aquarius. This will be a fun and relaxing weekend in Laughlin where you can enjoy the Colorado River, Network with Industry professionals, Gamble and of course watch some great Films! Grab some friends and take a road trip to join us for an exciting and fun weekend getaway to the first ever Laughlin International Film Festival!
