Laughlin Chamber Board to hold Annual Meeting
Laughlin, NV– The Laughlin Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors will be holding their Annual Meeting Mixer on Thursday, March 8, 2012, at the Aquarius. Just about every corporation, profit or non-profit, is required to hold at least one of these special meetings each year to reflect on the past twelve months, reviewing accomplishments as well as setbacks, the work-in-progress, and setting sites on the future.
Under the leadership of visionary business professionals, the Chamber diligently works to protect and advocate on behalf of its members. The Chamber Board of Directors is comprised of eighteen leaders guiding and strategically adjusting the organization's Program of Work to focus on four core functions: (1) Creating a strong local economy; (2) Promoting the community; (3) Representing the interest of business with government; and (4) Providing networking and relationship building opportunities. The chamber board of directors would like to thank each and every one of our business members for the support that is extended to the Laughlin Chamber of Commerce. Tony Timmons our Board President, said, ”We are very grateful that, given the difficult economic times, you continue to support our organization and the programs we offer.”
In addition to Chamber Members, the Annual Meeting Mixer is open to the general public and anyone interested in how the Chamber is creating successful business connections or perhaps considering membership is encouraged to attend and learn more. The Annual Meeting will be held at the Aquarius March 8, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. NV time on the second floor. The cost is $10 for members and $15 for non-members.
