Event Description:
The City of Bullhead City is proud to announce an expanded 2013 Winter Festival event schedule to include three days of family fun and community festivities including new attractions like carnival rides, gingerbread house decorating contest and free pet photos with Santa. Winter Festival will take place immediately following the Annual Boombox Parade with the arrival of Santa Claus by and the official tree lighting ceremony. Friday's expanded schedule includes carnival rides, arts and crafts booths, free popcorn, hot cocoa and cookies. Santa Claus will read the Polar Express while his elves hand out Spirit of Christmas bells to the children in attendance. Saturday's events will start at 10 am with lots of local entertainment, free photos with Santa, holiday cards to our troops, Santa letter writing station with North Pole mailbox, arts and crafts booths, carnival rides and our traditional free hot dogs at 11 am, while supplies last. Saturday's event will end at 5 pm. Sunday's festivities begin at 10 am with local entertainers and dance studios performing. The free pet photos with Santa begin at 11 am and the best dress pet contest and parade at noon. Sunday's events conclude at 2 pm.
