I consider it a true honor to serve this vibrant and dynamic region nestled along the beautiful Colorado River. As a 20-year resident in the area, I’ve witnessed firsthand the growth and evolution of our community, and I’m deeply committed to its continued success. At the Laughlin Chamber of Commerce, we’re more than just an organization; we’re a community hub dedicated to promoting growth, prosperity, and collaboration among our members and the entire Colorado River Region.

Our region is renowned for its exciting events that draw visitors from far and wide. From the exhilarating Laughlin Bullhead Airshow to the dazzling Spring and Fall Concert Series at the Laughlin Events Center, we host an array of festivities that showcase the unique charm and beauty of Laughlin. The Bullhead Regional Economic Development Authority, in conjunction with the Laughlin Chamber of Commerce, and Clark County, NV is pleased to present the fourth in a series of Regional Economic Development Summits on Thursday September 27, 2012.

These Regional Summits are designed to update the community about regional economic development initiatives and, more importantly, continue to dialogue with local leaders regarding those initiatives.

The September 27 Summit focus is on the Workforce Development programs and initiatives from both a state-wide perspective, and on the local level. Most importantly, the audience will be provided with specific information on how to take advantage of the benefits and programs to make their business more productive and profitable.

A question and answer period following the presentations will be facilitated by Buddy Borden, Associate Professor at Cooperative Extension University of Nevada-Reno.
