The Laughlin/Bullhead International Airport is hosting the 2018 EAA Young Eagles Day on next month on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. This event will be held at Signature Flight Support. (See attached flyer with map).
The EAA Young Eagles program was launched in 1992 to give interested young people ages 8 - 17 an opportunity to go flying in a general aviation airplane. These flights are offered FREE of charge and are made possible through the generosity of EAA member volunteers. Since 1992, more than 2 million Young Eagles have enjoyed a flight through the program. Young Eagles have been registered in more than 90 different countries and have been flown by more than 43,000 volunteer pilots in the past 25 years.
The Airport is currently looking for local businesses and organizations to sponsor a “Young Eagle”. To sponsor a Young Eagle, please contact Joey O’Rourke at (928) 754-2134 or JORourke@FlyIFP.com.
