Fellow Nevadan,

All across our state and nation, we are seeing the number of COVID-19 cases tick up. To slow the spread of the coronavirus and protect our communities, we each need to do our part in combatting this virus: that means washing your hands, wearing a mask, and staying at least 6 feet apart from people not in your household. And now, thanks to efforts by the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services, that also means downloading Nevada’s own COVID Trace app—a free app for mobile devices that will let you know if you’ve come in contact with someone who has COVID-19 so you can take action to keep you and your loved ones safe.

DOWNLOAD THE APP HERE

The COVID Trace app is a free contact tracing app that is easy to use and a quick way to know if you’ve come into contact with someone who has contracted the coronavirus. The app’s Exposure Notifications System uses Bluetooth to communicate with other mobile devices that have the app. If there’s a match, the app alerts you immediately and provides further instructions from the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services.
The Nevada Department of Health and Human Services also knows how important protecting your privacy is—which is why the app was built to respect your privacy and give you the tools to keep your information safe. The app is opt-in, so if you change your mind at any point, you can opt-out.
