Big Bend Water District Billing Upgrades to take effect in March

LAS VEGAS (March 14) – The Big Bend Water District (BBWD) is upgrading its billing system to increase efficiency and enhance customer service.

Beginning with the March statement, all billing will be coordinated through the Las Vegas Valley Water District’s (LVVWD) billing system. These changes will improve BBWD customers’ ability to manage accounts online, provide convenient payment options, as well as the ability to receive customer support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

In March, all BBWD customers will receive a new account number and monthly billing statements will include information about current and past water use. With the new account number, customers will be able to register their online account at myaccount.lvvwd.com to make payments and review payment history, set-up automatic payments, and start, stop, or transfer water service, and enroll in paperless billing.

Due to the billing conversion, the March bill statement will include about 10 additional days of water usage than the typical billing period.  Late fees and delinquent charges will be waived during the March billing to allow customers easy transition.

The BBWD and LVVWD strive to provide the best service and support to our customers and we appreciate your understanding as we complete this system upgrade.

The Las Vegas Valley Water District manages and operates the BBWD, treating and delivering water to Laughlin residents and many thousands of annual visitors. The LVVWD was designated to serve as agent for the BBWD by the Big Bend Board of Trustees in 2008.
