ANNUAL ROCKETS OVER THE RIVER INDEPENDENCE DAY FIREWORKS DISPLAY SEEN BY MANY
 
The single night Rockets over the River Independence Day Fireworks Display, sponsored by the Laughlin Tourism Commission, was watched by more viewers than the 2019 4th of July event. It is estimated, based on attendance numbers across the western USA, that the tri-state had approximately 8,000 out-of-town visitors over the weekend and the 9pm event on Sunday, July 4th was watched, in person, by close to 10,000 people.
 
People watched from resort VIP viewing parties and the towers, in vessels floating on the river, from beach and pool parties, tail gating desert parking, and atop local roofs. What they saw were 1960 SHELLS, 835 of which were featured in the finale, with an additional 1525 multi effect cake shots.
