5th annual BDAC Alumni & Friends Mixer on December 12th Invitation
This event embodies BDAC’s mission to facilitate the growth of disadvantaged small businesses throughout the county and help enhance traditionally underrepresented small business owners by promoting equal business opportunity programs and providing more equitable access to vital business information. More importantly, this program is another example of how Clark County’s strong public and private partnerships support an inclusive economic environment promoting entrepreneurial equity and inclusive economic growth. The networking portion of the event furthers this mission by strengthening the ties amongst the BDAC community, allowing for a stronger economic future for all.
WHO:
- Graduates of Clark County Small Business training programs
- Business owners working to grow a small firm
- Minority businesses seeking new contract opportunities for a day of business programs and networking
- Event Schedule: a speaking program from 9:00 am – 11:30 am and a business mixer/networking period from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm.
- Moderators: Ariel Davis, BDAC Vice Chair, and Bedford Jackson, Alternate BDAC Member.
- Speaking Program Content: Pieces from BDAC representatives, event sponsors such as Kenyatta Lewis from MGM resorts or Saul Ramos from the U.S. Small Business Administration, and county representatives such as County Commissioner William McCurdy II and Shani Coleman.
