24th Annual Oatman Bed Race
Happening on Saturday, January 24th, 2015
Oatman, Arizona will be having its 24th annual "Great Oatman Bed Race" on
Saturday, January
24th, 2015 along Main Street on the historic and world famous Route 66.
There will be a brief parade of contestants before the bed races starting at 12:45 p.m. AZ time, followed by the Bed Races at 1 p.m. AZ time.
The Bed Race is a spirited contest of teams of 5 people. Each team will have a person riding on the bed and 4 people pushing the bed down Main Street. The fastest team wins.
There will be cash prizes for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers and prizes for the best costume and showmanship.
Must be 18 years of age
